Chelsea look set for a very quiet deadline day – in fact there’s only one move we feel confident predicting will happen from this point.
Andrey Santos was recalled at the start of the month, and has since been off playing with Brazil in their Olympic Games qualifiers. That makes organising a new move a little more tricky, but in his live blog for the Daily Telegraph, the well connected Matt Law has repeated what we heard a couple of days ago – that Santos will be going to Chelsea’s sister team in Ligue 1, Strasbourg.
Time is running out of course, but given it’s a loan move from one affiliate club to another, it should be about as easy to conclude as possible. That should give Santos a much better chance to play than his disaster spell at Nottingham Forest, and hopefully he comes back from Brazil duty in good form and ready to slot straight in.
I don’t know why they have to loan this player . He is quality player as long he will given regular playing time . Chelsea FC is wasting time buying players and loaning them out . Santos is much better than Gallagher.
