Chelsea are looking to add a traditional number 9 to their ranks when the summer transfer window opens up at the end of this season, according to reports.
This is something we have consistently heard mentioned about Chelsea of late but they have really struggled to find a suitable option at a suitable price to come in. Nicolas Jackson has certainly started to find much better form or late and is scoring goals, but he is also not a traditional number 9. And this is absolutely a profile that this Chelsea squad seriously lacks right now.

The reliable reporter Jacob Steinburg of The Guardian has put his latest Chelsea transfer news report out late last night, he he mentions three main targets for the striker position at the club.
He writes that Chelsea will look to sign a ‘traditional No 9’ – they have tracked Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyökeres.
