Cesare Casadei has had two seasons in a row where he’s played disappointing little club football, but on the international stage he constantly has great moments.
His latest has come in a vital qualifier for Italy’s U21 team, who have just beaten Latvia 2-0 to keep in touch in their qualification group. As always he was able to find space in the box, and make no mistake from close range with an acrobatic finish.
We wonder if this makes Mauricio Pochettino any more likely to give him some minutes in the weeks to come?
