Ally McCoist is relentlessly positive. Speaking on TalkSport today, he insisted that Chelsea do have a chance in their FA Cup semi final against Man City, and could go on to win the competition.
That was in stark contrast to Craig Burley on ESPN, who took great pleasure in saying our season is over now, as we’re effectively already out of that competition.
“There have been signs of improvement. They’re more than capable of winning the cup. They were unlucky against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.”
He also said that returning to Jose Mourinho – or changing to any other manager – wouldn’t make a “massive difference.”

It says all you need to know that SuperFrank chooses to repeat comments made by the blowhard Craig Burley in a piece that’s supposed to be about the thoughts of Ally McCoist. SuperFrank, like so many Chelsea fans of late never misses an opportunity to wax negative about the club he claims to “support,” lol. Instead of giving McCoist’s comments their due and discussing why he might actually have a point (that there’s been ample evidence of improvement), SuperFrank uses most of the article to rebut McCoist.
