Ruud Gullit was on BeinSports last night insisting that Jose Mourinho could yet be a good option for Chelsea.
“He still has it,” the Dutchman insisted when the prospect of a third spell was brought up.
Sadly we couldn’t agree less. Whether Mourinho has “lost it” or the game has just moved on, he’s been offering diminishing returns for a decade now and we don’t want to see him tarnish his legacy once again.
He’s great at his best, but he makes a toxic situation even more toxic – and that’s just what would happen here.

Totally agree. Another go round with Mourinho would be an unmitigated disaster, especially with such a young group. A guaranteed clustf@#$.
