Mykhailo Mudryk surprised a young fan by meeting him for a game of tennis.
The 23 year old received a letter from 13 year old boy Pasha who had to flee from Ukraine with his mum due to the war.
Pasha revealed that it was sad and worrying moving to a new place and leaving his dad behind.
When Mudryk joined Chelsea Pasha started following the Ukrainian and his team and said it was very cool there was a Ukrainian in the Chelsea team.
The young boy revealed that he used to play football when he was younger and played on the left wing like Mudryk does.
Pasha’s favourite sport is tennis and he thought he had been invited for an interview and to show off his tennis skills.
Instead, Mudryk surprised him and the pair had a game of tennis with the Ukrainian also giving Pasha a signed shirt.

In 2022, Pasha had to leave Ukraine and his father to move to the UK.
He found comfort in sport, and in particular cheering on compatriot Mykhailo Mudryk.
Upon hearing Pasha’s story, the @ChelseaFC forward organised a very special surprise 💙 pic.twitter.com/GR1UMn4d4o
