Chelsea’s season has come down to missed chances, and today’s game was once again defined by moments the ball didn’t go in the net.
Today was another great example. We don’t want to put it all on Raheem Sterling, there were plenty of others who should have put the ball in the net, but the best chance of the dying minutes was a header the winger should have put away.
Once away it was all Cole Palmer – he dug out the perfect dinked cross, but somehow Sterling didn’t even manage to get the ball on target.
