Chelsea man describes his team mate as “a special player” ahead of Sheff Utd

Chelsea face Sheffield United in the Premier League this evening in the 5.30pm kick off.

It’s been a good weekend for Chelsea so far even though they haven’t kicked a ball yet. Goal difference has seen them rise to 9th place in the league, and things are looking much better for them for the season run in. They need to keep winning games of course, but European qualification is very much now in their own hands and of course, they are still in the FA Cup with a big semi final match coming up against Manchester City.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add new striker name to summer shortlist and still hold Dusan Vlahovic interest!

United will present a tough game this afternoon despite being rooted the bottom of the Premier League, but no game is easy in this league and this one could be a potential banana skin.

Marc Cucurella has been speaking ahead of the game today, and he has some praise for his team mate Cole Palmer, who has turned into Chelsea’s talisman.

On Palmer, Cucurella told London World: “He is a different player with a lot of qualities. A special player, when he feels confident he shows a lot of qualities and he is an important player for us. He needs to maintain this level and we need to maintain this in the remaining games to win something good.”
