Chelsea midfielder says everyone at the club is “pulling in the same direction”

One current Chelsea midfielder has said that everyone at the club is now pulling in the same direction to achieve their goals this season and beyond.

It’s been yet another poor season at Chelsea under the new ownership group, who have spent a lot of money signing new players. They’ve received a lot of criticism for taking a ‘scattergun’ approach with the recruitment, and many have mentioned how they have ignored the here and now by signing many young players who are raw, that have potential but are perhaps not ready yet.

EXCLUSIVE! No surprise if Pochettino is given next season still, Amorim NOT under consideration, Interest in Ferguson, Osimhen, Sesko, & Nusa but Gyokeres NOT on agenda, Outgoings, PSR, Stadium plans……

Enzo Fernandez was one of the big money signings to arrive quite early on in the new reign of the ownership, and most Chelsea fans celebrated that signing at least.

He’s not quite where he needs to be right now in terms of performances since he arrived, something that he even admits himself. But he also aims to get there very soon. And he also believes this Chelsea team will get there very soon as well.

‘We’re all united as a group, pulling in the same direction and trying to learn,’ Enzo is quoted as saying on the Chelsea website this morning. ‘We are a young group, a new team, and so it was always going to be hard to find consistency in this first season. We are all trying to do our best, every one of us.

‘We can still win a trophy this season. We’re in the semi-final of the FA Cup against Manchester City and we believe in this group and the coaching staff and everything they bring to every training session and every game.’

  1. So happy to hear the players sticking together. Just too bad the fanbase can’t get over their infantile frustration with the team’s youthful inconsistency and simply back them unconditionally.

  2. Check on your defence you are conceiding much. There is still hope of finishing this season on a better position.
