Cole Palmer has joined a very small list of Chelsea players who have made a particular record this season.
Only Palmer, and strikers Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Diego Costa are on this list of Chelsea’s records, making it pretty elite and also very impressive that Palmer as an attacking midfielder has made it!

So, according to Mozo Football, as shown below, Cole Palmer has been involved in 21 Premier League goals for Chelsea this season, scoring 13 and assisting 8 so far. Only Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink (32 in 2000-01) and Diego Costa (23 in 2014-15) have been involved in more in their debut campaign for Chelsea.
That is super impressive to be honest and just shows how much Palmer has dragged Chelsea through this season as their talisman with the weight of the pressure on his shoulders. And he’s carrying it very well.

Let’s hope Palmer can continue on with this top form, but I really think he needs more help and for others to stand up and make more contributions and help him carry this team.
