Cole Palmer was reportedly annoyed with two of his team mates in Sheff Utd game

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer cut a frustrated figure as his side failed to beat Sheffield United on Sunday evening and instead had to make do with a point.

Marc Cucurella had been speaking about how the late dramatic win against Manchester United in the week would mean nothing if they could then not go on the win against Sheffield United on Sunday night. So he’s right, that win does now mean nothing.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add new striker name to summer shortlist and still hold Dusan Vlahovic interest!

Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino were poor once again, and it’s just a typical Chelsea performance under the Argentine this season I’m afraid.

Palmer is usually the talisman but even he was quiet and unable to effect the game and pull the strings. But he was reportedly getting frustrated with two of his team mates during the game.

Football London claim Palmer was trying to tell Axel Disasi that he needed to get forward more to help Madueke and in turn, create more space for the rest of the Chelsea team. Take another player out of the game. They describe it as Palmer ‘shouting’ at Disasi.

He was also frustrated with Nicolas Jackson, according to TBR Football. They report in the final few minutes of the first-half, and as picked up on by the commentators as well, Palmer was furious with Jackson as he once again failed to use the ball well when Chelsea broke clear.

  1. Nicholas Jackson is lazy in pressing really, for a guy who misses so many chances he is should atleast make up for pressing more.
He just leave an opponent so much freedom with the ball he doesn’t counter press.

  2. Jackson more to blame in one case he initiated a break but when ball passed back to him to score he had no idea.

  3. Chelsea need to get raid of some players including the coaches, Chelsea is bigger than him??
