“I am not a clown, I am a coach!” – Mauricio Pochettino directs critics to the circus

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has directed his critics to the circus if they want to see a clow and declares, he is a coach and not a clown!

This comes after Chelsea somehow managed to beat Manchester United 4-3 last night after being 3-2 in the 99th minute of the game! It was nothing short of a miracle really, with the game having already gone 1 minute over the 8 added on. Chelsea were lucky, and they needed to rely on the brilliance of Cole Palmer to win the game in the end.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add new striker name to summer shortlist and still hold Dusan Vlahovic interest!

But of course, Chelsea fans wont care about any of that and rightly so, we beat United when we were losing the game, and we have now finally climbed back into the top half of the table! Of course we celebrate that!

Pochettino was being asked about showing passion on the sidelines, or more accurately, a lack of it this season.

He replied: “Passion is not to be a crazy guy doing stupid things on the touchline. I’m not like this. The team needs to show passion when it’s 11 players on the pitch, running and desperate to get the ball back and score goals. I need to be calm, very clinical and analytic to help them in every aspect of the game. At the end of the game, of course show your passion like I did. But it’s not a circus where you need a clown to do something on the touchline.

“We are one of the youngest teams in Europe, so we the coaching staff need to be calm. I am not a clown, I am a coach. If someone wants a clown, go and find a clown.”
