(Image): Cole Palmer’s Instagram message says it all after FA Cup exit

Chelsea were narrowly knocked out of the FA Cup last night by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side, but it was a hugely frustrating night for Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea.

The Blues didn’t deserve to lose on the night and really, if it wasn’t for some awful finishing in particular from Nicolas Jackson, then they would have won the game.

City won 1-0 after a late winner in the 84th minute, but Chelsea really should have had the game won earlier on and were mostly the better side.

Jackson’s misses were poor, as I said, and Cole Palmer made a couple of great chances for himself and got unlucky. He would have loved to have scored again against his former side and dump them out of the FA Cup last night, and his Instagram reaction post says it all.

It was short and sweet, but the ‘sigh’ is all he needed to write along with the picture of a frustrated looking Palmer…

  1. Pocketing doesn’t know ability of his players. Should play a Diamond with Gallagher at base, Palmer at 10 Sterling / Mudrik at left ……..Caicedo+Fernadesh behind Palmer.
