A week ago, we noted that Strasbourg were undefeated since they slotted Andrey Santos into their lineup. They grabbed another win this week with the Brazilian starring once again. They came back from 1-0 down to beat a really strong Reims side 3-1.
The three points earned there pretty decisive end the relegation risk for the year, and mean that planning at BlueCo can begin in earnest for next year.
Transfermarkt have his value at €14m, and that’s only likely to increase further as he makes more appearances.
Quite what we do with him next season is another question. When given the chance as he has been in recent games he’s quite clearly good enough for this level – do we risk sending him further up the food chain? He should been playing for Chelsea FC than Gallagher . Manager coach should have given this young man to partner Enzo in midfield with caceido or Lavia in three man midfield .
The directors of football decide who goes on loan. Without Gallagher we wouldn’t of beat Leicester, Crystal Palace or Manchester United. Always attacking the white local boy. Enzo and Caicedo are the ones who have let the midfield down. Stop all the hate for the English academy boys. Without them we couldn’t have a full 25 man squad which must include 4 club trained but you don’t stop to consider that. Caicedo was the unecessay signing.

Santos should’ve been given that slot instead. He’s way more comfortable on the ball and a better all-round midfielder.
