A week ago, we noted that Strasbourg were undefeated since they slotted Andrey Santos into their lineup. They grabbed another win this week with the Brazilian starring once again. They came back from 1-0 down to beat a really strong Reims side 3-1.
The three points earned there pretty decisive end the relegation risk for the year, and mean that planning at BlueCo can begin in earnest for next year.
Transfermarkt have his value at €14m, and that’s only likely to increase further as he makes more appearances.
Quite what we do with him next season is another question. When given the chance as he has been in recent games he’s quite clearly good enough for this level – do we risk sending him further up the food chain?
