(Video)- “They got absolutely destroyed” – Pundit delivers scathing verdict on Chelsea

Rio Ferdinand didn’t hold back in his assessment of Chelsea following their 5-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates on Tuesday night.

The Blues weren’t at it from the first minute, and their expensively assembled team got torn apart, with former player Kai Havertz scoring twice.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have tended to fare better in the big games this season turning in some good performances, but they were miles off it against the Gunners.

It very much felt like a new low for Chelsea and that’s saying something given all the disappointment that’s happened over the last two years.

Pochettino’s side were second best all over the pitch with Ferdinand describing it as “men against boys”, with the Blues seemingly incapable of playing simple passes.

The Argentine will need to get a reaction from his players ahead of a tough trip to Villa Park on Saturday night, with the Blue’s European hopes hanging by a thread.
