Chelsea have reportedly offered one of their transfer targets for this summer a more competitive salary package than one of their rivals, who are also trying to sign said player, have offered.
We are getting very close to the season of transfer now, otherwise known as silly season! The summer transfer window opens very soon now, and it looks like plans are in place as clubs try and add to their squads over the next few months and in some cases, it’s more than just plans.

Both Chelsea and Newcastle United apparently have offers in for defender Tosin Adabarioyo of Fulham. The 26-year-old will become a free agent at the end of June and he has been taking offers from clubs before he makes a final decision on where he wants to go and play next season and beyond.
According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea have offered Tosin Adarabioyo a more competitive package than Newcastle, who are adamant they won’t overpay for him.
A big decision to make
The defender now has to make his mind up on where he is going to go, and I am sure a player of that calibre has more offers than just those two as well.
He will likely be looking at a number of factors other than just the payment terms. He will be taking into account his playing time where he goes next and what sort of a role he will be handed, perhaps the location will make a difference as well. He lives very close to Chelsea already so perhaps he is happy and settled in London and the area he is in, and that might be a big factor for choosing Chelsea if that is what he ends up deciding to do.
It’s certainly an interesting one to watch.
