The domestic season may be over, but a number of Chelsea stars will be in action over the summer, with both the European Championships and Copa America taking place.

The likes of Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher and Marc Cucurella have already been called up to provisional squads ahead of this summer’s major tournaments.

Djordje Petrovic is the latest Chelsea player to be called up by his country and the 24-year-old has been named in Serbia’s final squad for the Euros in Germany, where he could come up against some of his team-mates.

The Serbian arrived at Chelsea last summer from MLS side New England Revolution, but had to wait until December to make his debut for the club.

Petrovic seized his opportunity and put in a number of impressive performances, and established himself as the club’s number one, and at only £14m appears to be a bargain for the Blues.

The Serbia international made 31 appearances in all competitions during his debut season, with 23 coming in the Premier League.

Whether he remains Chelsea’s first choice goalkeeper next season will be the decision of incoming new manager Enzo Maresca.
