Cole Palmer is enjoying a superb season for Chelsea and is rightfully receiving accolades for his brilliant form which has seen him scored 21 Premier League goals.
Palmer has exceeded expectations following his deadline day move from Manchester City last summer, and quickly established himself as Chelsea’s go to man.
The 22-year-old became only the third player in Premier League history aged 21 or under to register 30 goals contributions in a single league season.
The former City man was named Premier League Player of the Month for April after scoring seven goals, which included two hat-tricks and providing an assist.
He became the first Chelsea player to win the award since Eden Hazard in September 2018, and by also winning the Goal of the Month award Palmer became the first player in the club’s history to win both awards in the same month.
The England international took to Instagram to share a message he sent Hazard back in 2015 describing him as one of his idols, and he is now following in his footsteps.
