(Video) – Kyle Walker hails Chelsea star as best in the world

Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has given high praise to Reece James describing him as the best right back in the world.

James has had an injury ravaged season for the Blues and spent around five months sidelined with a hamstring injury he picked up last December, which he underwent went surgery on.

The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best right backs in the Premier League since making his Chelsea debut in 2019, and when fully fit he is one of, if not the best in the world.

James was named as captain at the start of last season following the departure of Cesar Azpilicueta to highlight his importance at the club and what he brings to the team and the dressing room.

The England international returned to action late last season against Nottingham Forest and provided a match winning assist for Nicolas Jackson within three minutes of entering the action, but was sent off in the next game against Brighton, meaning he will miss the start of next season.

Despite his injury issues and not being called up for the Euros this summer, Walker feels James is the most “complete” right back in world football, and gives you a bit of everything.

Chelsea will be desperate for their captain to be fully fit next season, with James a huge asset and real game changer for the team.
