An agent has just been speaking out about his client’s future at Chelsea and says that he is happy at the club despite some recent rumours.
The rumours have never been that the player is unhappy as such, but the rumours have suggested that he could leave, or that the club might push to sell.

But Marc Cucurella has always seemingly been happy enough at Chelsea, but the question is whether he leaves the club this summer or not.
Recent rumours have suggested that Cucurella could leave Chelsea this summer if a good offer arrives for him. However, it doesn’t sound like he wants to leave Chelsea or London at the moment.
Perhaps he’s left the door ajar ever so slightly?

As seen above, Cucurella’s agent Aleix Piqué has been quoted as saying today:
“Cucurella is very comfortable and happy at Chelsea and in London His idea is to stay at the club. Under normal circumstances, he will continue there.”
So to me, that sounds like ideally he wants to stay at Chelsea, but he would potentially be open to making a move away as well. The fact he says ‘under normal circumstances’ and ‘his idea’ is to stay at Chelsea suggests that there is still a chance that he leaves this summer like the rumour states, if a good offer comes in.
Chelsea have a decision to make on left backs this summer, because it looks like they will probably need to sell at least one with the pending arrival of Renato Veiga as well. He might be loaned out still, but one of Ben Chilwell or Cucurella may well be sold as well or instead of.
Cucurella has had a great Euros and plays in the final on Sunday, so Chelsea might be looking to keep him now as well.
