Chelsea interested in new target who had good Euros, but his value increases next week

Chelsea are interested in another player who had a good Euros this summer and if they are to move for him, they will need to do that very soon.

Chelsea are looking at new attackers this summer and are looking to bring one or two more in before the window is out.

Sources: Chelsea, Manchester United, and Aston Villa all keen on the same Premier League striker! 👀

They’ve been looking for new wingers and strikers, and they have seemingly had scouts watching a handful of players at the Euros this summer, with some of them putting on some every good showings.

There are some players who have stood out and been shouted about, and others who have had a good tournament but have perhaps not been spoken about as much. And that is the case for Portugal winger Francisco Conceição.

The 21-year-old played 4 times for Portugal at the Euros and scored 1 goal, and he quietly had a good Euros attracting interest from more clubs.

Chelsea are keen

According to The Guardian, Chelsea are said to be among the clubs who have expressed an interest in signing the Porto man this summer.

He would be a cheap option at the moment, because he is reported to have a release clause of €30m (£25.3m). But that clause does not last and will get higher from next week, increasing to €45m.

This will mean that if Chelsea, or any other interested club want to sign him for the cheaper fee, then they will have to sort that and get that done this weekend.

It’s not too late of course, but you’d suspect that if Chelsea are planning to do this deal then we might start hearing about it today or tomorrow at the very latest. So we will have to see if anything comes of this one or whether it is just another player that The Blues have been considering.
