Chelsea have submitted an offer in the region of €20m for Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues have been busy this summer with seven new faces arriving at Stamford Bridge, but the club are still looking to make more signings.
The squad are currently in America on their pre-season tour, but The Athletic reported earlier this week the club hoped to make two or three more signings by the end of July.
Chelsea submit first Jorgensen bid
The Blues are believed to be looking for a goalkeeper, winger and a striker and it seems they have identified who they want as their new keeper.
It was reported last week that Chelsea were entering the market for a new goalkeeper, and they were believed to have a list of four options.
It appears Chelsea have identified their man, and Romano has reported they have submitted their first offer for Jorgensen worth in the region of €20m.
He took to X.com and said:

Jorgensen is 22 years of age, so fits the club’s age profile, and stats show he prevented the most goals in La Liga last season, and Chelsea clearly feel he ticks the boxes of what they are looking for in a keeper.
He kept six clean sheets in 37 appearances in all competitions last season and conceded 64 goals as Villarreal finished eighth in the league.
It might come as surprise to see the Blues looking to sign another goalkeeper given they signed two last summer in Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic.
It’s been reported that Sanchez will start the new campaign as Enzo Maresca’s number one, but there’s a real chance Petrovic, who impressed last season could be on his way out after just one season.
There are thought to be concerns over his ability to adapt to the Italian’s style of play and he was reportedly offered to Italian side Genoa.
The potential arrival of the Dane means one of Sanchez or Petrovic will be leaving the club this summer either permanently or on loan.
