(Image) Chelsea ace takes to social media to condemn racism following Enzo Fernandez incident

David Datro Fofana is the latest Chelsea player to take to social media in the aftermath of the Enzo Fernandez racism incident.

Fernandez has given Chelsea a big problem before the beginning of the season after a video of him and his Argentina team-mates chanting a song with racist and discriminatory slurs about French players following their Copa America success went viral on social media.

The Blues have a large contingent of French players at the club and it didn’t take long for Wesley Fofana to call out his team-mate over the incident as he posted a clip of the video to social media with the words “football in 2024: uninhibited racism.”

Fernandez has subsequently issued an apology and is believed to have privately apologised to his team-mates, whilst Chelsea have announced they have launched an internal disciplinary procedure over the incident.

Datro Fofana has taken to Instagram stories in the aftermath of the incident and has called on racism in all forms to be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
