Exclusive claims Cole Palmer has told his England team mate to join him at Chelsea

Cole Palmer has reportedly told his England team mate to join him at Chelsea this summer, according to an exclusive report this week.

Palmer is still getting over the disappointment of missing out on winning the Euros on Sunday night losing 2-1 to Spain. The Chelsea attacker scored the equaliser that gave England fans hope on the night, yet hearts were broken once again after a late winning goal from Spain saw them become champions of Europe.

Sources: Frank Lampard’s involvement in new England manager pursuit, plus three other former Chelsea managers in for it!

Palmer will now have a little holiday I’d imagine before then returning to Cobham to start the next season ahead with Chelsea. He will be hoping to keep his form from last season as well as his Euros form going into next season and once again, become Chelsea’s talisman.

The Blues still need a striker

Cole Palmer and Ollie Watkins at Chelsea would be superb!

In my opinion, Chelsea still need to sign a more established striker to go into the new season with. They have Nicolas Jackson who has done well, but Christopher Nkunku should only be an emergency option for striker, and Marc Guiu who arrived from Barcelona’s youth academy this summer, is not yet proven enough to come in and be a regular option and probably needs a loan move this season.

Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins can certainly be described as an established striker, and that is who Cole Palmer has been telling to join him at Chelsea, according to Football Insider.

Watkins has been great for Villa and would be a top signing for Chelsea. However, despite agent Palmer, I see this as an impossible move. Villa wont want to sell their star man and if they were to even listen to offers for him, they would have to be VERY big offers.

Nice try though Palmer, if this story is true of course. But I think Watkins stays at Villa.
