Former Chelsea player thinks Blues could sell Enzo Fernandez after racism incident

One former Chelsea player has spoken out about the incident that has seemingly rocked the boat at the club this week and seen Enzo Fernandez rightfully bought into scrutiny.

We don’t need to go through what has happened again, everyone will be well aware of that by now and we all know that Enzo Fernandez and his Argentine team mates have been very stupid at the very least.

EXCLUSIVE!! Chelsea have put TWO centre backs up for sale and one for loan in order to sign one more new PREMIER LEAGUE centre back!

But the question remains now, how do Chelsea and Enzo Fernandez move forward from this? Can they even move forward from this? And perhaps more importantly, can the players who have rightfully been offended by what Enzo has done within Chelsea move forward from this? Will they every be able to forgive what he’s said? None of us know these all important answers.

But former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino believes Chelsea might think about selling Enzo if they don’t see a way that it can work now within the squad.

No excuse for what Enzo did

Does Enzo still have a future at Chelsea?

Despite some of his Argentine team mates trying to make them, Cascarino says there is no excuse for what happened.

“That’s a tricky one to handle,” Cascarino said on the Enzo situation.

“I think Chelsea have got a major decision on whether they actually keep Enzo Fernandez.

Having players not happy with a guy in the dressing room, I’m not sure there will be many that comfortable with some of the things that have gone on.

There’s no excuse for that to go out. It’s not going to sit well with the other players is it? I don’t know how you can handle it because there will be players who can’t forgive. There might be some who can move on despite not liking what happened.

You don’t need everyone to like each other at a club but this is a really, really tricky one. Some players won’t want to move on or make it work.”

  1. I don’t think Enzo i going anywhere. He apologized, he’s young, he deserves a chance to learn and grow. Not to mention it would probably be a negative on Chels thin books as well. They’ll sort it out, Nico backed him already.
