Marc Cucurella posted an Instagram story today to confirm that his holidays are over after a successful Euros campaign with Spain. He’s back at Chelsea’s training ground, presumably doing his very first physical tests and starting his ramp up to match fitness.
We would imagine, that being back at Cobham today would mean he’s going to fly out to the USA to join the squad later this week, as Enzo Fernandez did today. On the other hand, it’s a long way to go given the group are returning to London late next week. It will be interesting to see whether he just ends up doing 9 days fitness work at the training ground and waits for the squad to come back, or if he’s sent off to the States to join Enzo Maresca’s preseason as soon as he’s able to.
