(Images): Nico Jackson posts support for Enzo Fernandez after racism incident

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has seemingly posted some images and messages of support for his Chelsea team mate Enzo Fernandez after the racism incident earlier this week.

Fernandez posted a video showing him and members of the Argentina squad singing a song that included racist and homophobic slurs about France players after Argentina won Copa America earlier this week.

Recordings of the video feature members of the team appearing to begin singing a chant that includes racist and homophobic slurs, including against France captain Kylian Mbappé.

The chant dates back at least to the World Cup final in which Argentina beat Mbappé‘s country on penalties.

Jackson supports Enzo

Jackson appears to stand by Enzo Fernandez with his posts above from his Instagram stories today.

Lets just hope that the rest of the Chelsea players will be forgiving as Jackson, especially the French players such as Wesley Fofana, who was clearly not happy, understanably.

Fofana reacted to the video with a message on social media that said: “Football in 2024: uninhibited racism.”
