Chelsea released the latest video of their behind the scenes at training series on Friday and it featured a very creative drill.
Enzo Maresca is at the end of his second week of pre-season training, with the Blues set to depart for their tour of America on Monday.
The club will have five matches against Wrexham, Club America, Celtic, Manchester City and Real Madrid before a game against Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge a week before the season starts.
Maresca is very hands on in and seemingly gets involved in the training, and reports have indicated that the players are enjoying his sessions.
In the latest behind the scenes training video players were seen doing a creative drill which involved a ball on a cone with four players holding hands to form a circle around it, with one having a bib hanging out the back of his shorts.
One player is then tasked with trying to get the bib as the players move round the circle in different directions, but they can’t knock the ball off the cone, in what can only be described as a very creative drill.
The players appeared to be enjoying themselves which is a positive sign and Maresca is clearly a coach who thinks outside the box.
Very creative physical work. pic.twitter.com/rB3zMkm0YM
