“Trained with the wingers” – 3 key insights from latest Chelsea training over night

There has been three key insights spotted from Chelsea’s latest over night training session in America, at least it’s over night if you’re based in the UK!

The Blues play their next match on Saturday evening against Celtic, with a 9pm kick off UK time. This comes after The Blues drew 2-2 with Wrexham on their first pre-season game of the campaign in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Sources: Chelsea working on deal for new winger behind the scenes – name revealed!

Enzo Maresca and his side will be looking to try and step up a bit from the last performance and get a win on the board in order to gain a bit of momentum. The first pre-season game is always going to be a bit of a slug as the players dust of the cobwebs and rust after a long break over the summer.

There were many positives to take away from the Wrexham game though as well as some negatives, but the hard work continues.

Chilwell trains with the wingers

Content creator Feroze Ali is out in the States covering Chelsea during this tour, and he has put up some insights from the latest training session via his X account today (as seen above).

Feroze noticed that Ben Chilwell has been training with the wingers in what is an intriguing insight, suggesting that he could be tried on the left wing in the next game.

James has continued to train as a inverted full back playing as a defensive midfielder as he did in the Wrexham game.

Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, and Marc Guiu all looked sharp!
