“Verge of reaching an agreement” – Fabrizio Romano on latest big Chelsea transfer deal

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has just put out the very latest on the next big Chelsea transfer deal that looks set to happen very soon now.

The Blues are just starting to get quite busy again with incomings and departures this summer, and they announced their latest signing late last night!

Sources: The reasons Chelsea are signing SO many youth prospects and others – REVEALED!

But they must also work on outgoings as well and they are close to agreeing a fee to sell former academy product Conor Gallagher, who has recently got back from the Euros with England.

Gallagher has not been seen in Chelsea training yet and is probably taking extra holiday after England reached the final of the Euros. But then again, maybe he is just now very close to departing the club?

Chelsea close to agreeing fee with Atletico Madrid

As you can see above, Romano has the latest on this one. And he says: “Atlético Madrid and Chelsea are on the verge of reaching an agreement for Conor Gallagher after talks in the last 24h.

“Story revealed on Tuesday morning, talks accelerated and €35/40m package almost agreed; small details to sort. It all depends on Conor’s decision.”

So this one looks like it rests on the decision of Gallagher now and whether he is keen to even take up a move to La Liga or not. I guess we will soon find out on that one.

Gallagher’s departure would upset many Chelsea fans but the reality is that Chelsea are stacked in that position, he has one year left on his contract and really, he isn’t going to be a starter under Enzo Maresca.

  1. I really dont see any sense with CFC board by selling best players and bringing average and incompetent players

  2. If I were Chelsea FC I will get back jao Felix plus if they can get merino to strengthen their central midfield . Plus hope they will sign a world class Striker . And mentor Guiu and Washington . Those two youngsters needs regular games for their development . I hope they will sort out their defence too.
