(Video): Chelsea winger already having his game changed by new manager

Today we not only got preseason training videos from the second week of Enzo Maresca’s time at Chelsea, we also got a “focus” on his session which followed him around all day.

One thing we noted in particular was him calling out Noni Madueke for taking too many touches.

“Noni two touches, three touches is too much…” he growled as he crouched and observed the session.

Madeueke and the other wingers on the books seem much better suited to a more direct style than the one Maresca will be introducing, so it’s going to be a real challenge for him to try and change their game to suit his.

You can see all the action in the clip embedded here:

  1. That’s to many players to pick from . How can maresca makes this player’s happy . Hope he pick the right player’s for the squad of 25 player’s for the season coming . I want to see Santos and Angelo this season for Chelsea FC . Marc Guiu can be deputy of Jackson / NKunKu . Washington definitely to be loan up for development . Hope they find the right pivot for the season ahead . And keep the squad healthy .

  2. Yes id like to see Santos and Angelo stay and get minutes at Chelsea as well. Washington too if they will give him the conference league opportunity and carabao cup chances as well. We need to have a formidable team that will first beat man city on our first game
