Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has been spotted wearing the shirt of his former club and getting a standing ovation at one of their games this week.
It seems the Blues player has been taking some time out in his home country after his Copa America triumph before joining Chelsea for pre-season soon.
Sources: Chelsea consider another ‘Cole Palmer-type’ swoop for Manchester City player, Plus trying their luck with Nico Williams again….
Of course, the Argentine international has been involved in controversy this last week or so after putting out a video of himself and his Argentine team mates signing a racist and homophobic song about French players.

Enzo was all smiles as he returned to River Plater, the team where he came through the youth ranks at, as seen above.
He donned the famous shirt and received a standing ovation from the fans in the stadium as he watched one of their games.
Enzo of course has a deep affiliation to the club where he first became a pro at.
Love everything about Enzo. Bit old school but the right mentality to make it to the very top. The incident just showed how petulant and immature some of our other players are. Would be happy to get rid of them and bring in some proper characters who deal with things in a mature way. Let’s hope their behaviour doesn’t destabilise this season
