Chelsea’s signings this summer have been slow and steady. The latest, Renato Veiga, has just been introduced to the fans with a really impressive introductory interview.
His English is superb, he seems really switched on, and has that supreme confidence you often get from players whose parents were also professionals. He’s not hyped like some players we’re linked with, but if you’re judging a player just by their first impressions, he’s a hit.
He chose three words to describe himself which will without doubt get fans excited:
“Aggressive, technical and intelligent.”
That pretty much covers exactly what you’d like your team to be.
