On TalkSport this morning a big debate broke out over whether the Blues were actually building towards a top 4 place after a billion spent in the transfer market, or whether they actually looked to be getting further away as quality was gradually replaced by potential.
We have to admit, when we saw the travelling squad listed for the trip to the USA, it did boggle our mind how weak it was. But then you remind yourself how many players are yet to return, and it’s not as bad as it seems.
