There has been a wild claim made by one exclusive report this weekend involving Chelsea and their transfer plans this summer.
And this is a move that if it did actually end up happening, would certainly be a great deal for Chelsea and one that would please Blues fans.

However, despite the exclusive report claims, this one seems as hugely unlikely to having any legs at all.
Football Insider claim that Chelsea are readying a sensational swap deal offer for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
They say that Chelsea are willing to offer midfielder Conor Gallagher plus cash to secure the 28-year-old this summer.
Massively unlikely to happen
I think that Chelsea may have at least thought about Ollie Watkins as a potential option this summer, and yes, I am sure they would try to offer players in any deal that they would put on the table. They will know that Villa do have an interest in Gallagher. So it’s something that may have been thought about.
But honestly, I don’t think it would ever go further than that unfortunately. Watkins is a very important player for Villa and I very much doubt they would entertain any offer for him unless it would be for stupid money. So Chelsea would have to stump up a lot of cash as well as Gallagher if they would even get Villa to listen to this one, if it even holds any truth to it.
It’s s shame though, because Watkins would be a great option for Chelsea and as we have seen in England’s last game in the Euros, there seems to be a nice little connection between him and Cole Palmer, who setup Watkins for the winning goal to send England into the Euros final against Spain later on today!
