The Victor Osimhen to Chelsea transfer saga is one that is 100% looking like it is now going down to deadline day on Friday.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano put his latest updates out late last night, and he has actually thrown a lifeline to Osimhen to Chelsea deal, even though last night there was some negativity on it and some outlets were suggesting Osimhen was going to be joining Saudi league.

We will have to see what happens there, but it looks like Chelsea are still very much in this and they just need to drop the wages down that Osimhen wants to make this happen.
It’s certainly going to be a very long couple of days now for Chelsea and Blues fans with many ups and downs and changes. Expect the unexpected and just be ready for the worst!

Romano put his updates out on PlayBack last night, as you can see cited above.
He said:
“Chelsea are still talking to Victor Osimhen and his agent, are in negotiations right now, and are not giving up. Osimhen is still giving Chelsea a chance.
“There is NO deadline from the player.”
So Chelsea are still talking but it looks like they just need to lay down what Osimhen wants. It’s clear Saudi are offering stupid wages for the player that Chelsea cannot compete with. Let’s just see if Osimhen wants to play in the Premier League and challenge himself or waste his career at such a young age.
I’m bored by this saga. WE shouldnt even condider paying his outragreous demands for wages. He has an injury record, and only his first season displayed his potential, which hasnt been yet been fullfilled. It’s a huge risk.
