Fabrizio Romano provides update which will excite Chelsea fans

Chelsea are not done in the transfer market yet and believe there could be space for further moves in the final weeks of the window according to Fabrizio Romano.

It’s been a busy summer at Stamford Bridge and as well as a new manager several new faces including the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tosin Adarabioyo have come through the door as the club look to strengthen their squad in an attempt to get back into the Champions League.

The Blues are reportedly in the market for a striker and a winger and it seems they have secured deals for players in both those positions with just the formalities to complete.

Chelsea could do more business in the transfer window

Chelsea have agreed a deal worth £35m with Atletico Madrid to sign 20-year-old striker Samu Omorodion, whilst it was reported on Friday they had reached an agreement with Wolves worth £51.4m for winger Pedro Neto.

Omorodion, who won Olympic Gold with Spain on Friday evening is expected to complete his move to west London imminently, whilst Neto will reportedly undergo his medical this weekend.

Victor Osimhen in action for Napoli.
Chelsea could still make a move for Osimhen before the window closes.

Having made additions in the areas they were looking to it would be easy to think Chelsea might be done with their business this summer.

However, Romano has provided an update saying the Blues aren’t done in the market and they believe there could be some opportunities in the final weeks of the window.

“Chelsea are not done yet in the market, they believe there could be space for some move in the final weeks of the window! Gabriel Mec is expected to be closed soon and Mike Penders signed yesterday,” he told his YouTube channel.

The big signing Chelsea could still make is Victor Osimhen and they remain in talks with Napoli over the possibility of including the Nigerian as part of the deal which would see Romelu Lukaku head to Naples.

  1. Yes it will be a good addition if they get osimhen though it will distract the squad . Osimhen will ask for big wages and he will definitely start . So it will affect the development of Jackson Guiu and omorodio . Jackson Guiu and omorodio is enough . All they need is to score goals , help the team to win games and to track back to help defending because EPL is tough league and Chelsea FC is playing more games due to involvement in Europe conferences . God bless Chelsea FC .

    1. I agree with Nelson. I feel Osimhen will disorganize the dressing room negative energy. I feel Chelsea should concentrate on ball supplies to the attackers they already have. They have well over 40 squared players now

  2. You’re right
If the present strikers can score more goals, then we don’t have to spend much money on another striker

  3. Chelsea should go and get osihmen and forget any obstacle that may cause delay. Osihmen is the final yes to Chelsea problem

  4. I suggest Chelsea FC to live Osimhen , Nkuku, Jackson,Guiu, and expecting samu Omorodion is ok,what the fans needed is good work from the team not to bring plenty player that will be on bench, almost ten players Chelsea have sign this summer, altogether in camp 42 players, though some going out, let Chelsea FC give time for the team to blend up Play like a good team, I believe my great good club Chelsea lifted trophy in coming next season God bless Chelsea FC.

  5. FOR 4 YEARS CHELSEA HAVE BOUGHT EVERY PLAYER FOR EVERY POSITION AND STILL WE NEED A PROPER CENTRE FORWARD ARE THE CLUB STUPID, I LOVE THEM BUT U NEED A GOALSCORER NOW???

  6. This osimhen of a thing is turning to something else i think we should just forget about him and give Mac guiu, Jackson and omorodion chance…

  7. Chelsea still need Osimhen because Guiie will go on loan.Once you buy Osimhen, Chelsea attack is complete.

  8. Chelsea is not a patient club with managers, and Victor Osihmen is a complete squad player with proven potentials fit for the EPL.
I suggest Chelsea should go ahead and get him ASAP

  9. Osimhen we are waiting for you please!! Jackson can’t do the real job and last season he missed a lot of chances especially in crucial games no

  10. Chelsea is an elite club, and so need a world number 9 that will score goals when it matters most. Jackson and Guiu are not in that class. A chelsea coach needs immediate result or lose his job. So I don’t understand these people who are saying Osimhen will distract the dressing room. Did he distract Napoli’s dressing room? I don’t understand. We need result not sentiment.

  11. So far Chelsea has a great team now with the new signings we seen of late. Last season we scored a lot of goals but in most cases those goals end up being equalised. The weakness of our team is in defence. Supposing our defence was solid last season we could have qualified for UCL. Let us focus on building our defence. Remember our defence has caused us a lot during our pre season games by uploading up and no fighting back for the ball, it has been pathetic show more so our centre back something need to be done here otherwise we will have a very bad season.
