Fabrizio Romano provides update which will excite Chelsea fans

Fabrizio Romano delivers Chelsea news

Chelsea are not done in the transfer market yet and believe there could be space for further moves in the final weeks of the window according to Fabrizio Romano.

It’s been a busy summer at Stamford Bridge and as well as a new manager several new faces including the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tosin Adarabioyo have come through the door as the club look to strengthen their squad in an attempt to get back into the Champions League.

The Blues are reportedly in the market for a striker and a winger and it seems they have secured deals for players in both those positions with just the formalities to complete.

Chelsea could do more business in the transfer window

Chelsea have agreed a deal worth £35m with Atletico Madrid to sign 20-year-old striker Samu Omorodion, whilst it was reported on Friday they had reached an agreement with Wolves worth £51.4m for winger Pedro Neto.

Omorodion, who won Olympic Gold with Spain on Friday evening is expected to complete his move to west London imminently, whilst Neto will reportedly undergo his medical this weekend.

Chelsea could still make a move for Osimhen before the window closes.

Having made additions in the areas they were looking to it would be easy to think Chelsea might be done with their business this summer.

However, Romano has provided an update saying the Blues aren’t done in the market and they believe there could be some opportunities in the final weeks of the window.

“Chelsea are not done yet in the market, they believe there could be space for some move in the final weeks of the window! Gabriel Mec is expected to be closed soon and Mike Penders signed yesterday,” he told his YouTube channel.

The big signing Chelsea could still make is Victor Osimhen and they remain in talks with Napoli over the possibility of including the Nigerian as part of the deal which would see Romelu Lukaku head to Naples.
