Chelsea are set for a busy end to this summer’s transfer window in the next 2-3 weeks as they look to wrap up a number of different deals.
There could be some movements in attack, some outgoing deals, some arrivals, and even potentially some movements in defence now as well.

Chelsea have a good amount of centre backs in the squad, but there might be one more arriving as well. And that could see a surprise departure.
Disasi opens door to exit
Our own reporter Simon Phillips has the latest on Disasi and Chelsea’s defensive situations that could still unfold as we go into the latter stages of this window, on his own Substack site today.
Phillips says Chelsea are looking at potentially bringing in a new centre back still:
“There’s a lot going on at the club right now and as I have been reporting, a new centre back could still arrive too.
“Chelsea have held talks with Nottingham Forest for Murillo, but the last I heard was that Chelsea would need to sell another centre back as well as Trevoh Chalobah before taking that one any further. And as well as that, his fee was too high when Chelsea enquired, but that didn’t end the interest flat out. Other centre backs have also been shortlisted.
“Chelsea will sell Chalobah and potentially another centre back this window. Benoit Badiashile is available, and so is Axel Disasi.
“Both would have to be for the right offer of course, and it would only be one of them.
“We heard that he [Disasi] is now open to leaving the club this window due to concerns about playing time this season.”
