Chelsea have Nottingham Forest defender Murillo on their radar if Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi all leave the club according to reports.
It’s once again been a busy summer at Stamford Bridge with a number of new faces coming through the door as the Blues look to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Whilst the main focus for the remainder of the window is outgoings, with the club still looking to move on Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah and Kepa Arrizabalaga, they are still trying to bring a striker in if the right opportunity presents itself.
Murillo on Chelsea’s radar
It’s likely to be a busy end to the window as the Blues face a race against the clock to find players new clubs and they may have to accept slightly less favourable deals at this late stage.
Maresca is currently preparing for Sunday’s trip to Wolves as the Blues look to get their first Premier League points of the season on the board and said he hopes Chelsea can find solutions for player sales before the end of the window.
“There is one week left of the transfer window, hopefully we can find solutions for all of them,” he said.
“When you find solutions, everyone is happy. When you don’t find a solution, then you can create some problems.”
It might not just be a striker that comes in and Mail Sport have reported that Murillo is on Chelsea’s radar if Disasi, Badiashile and Chalobah all leave the club.
The chances of that happening in the last week of the window would appear remote, with progress on Chalobah’s departure slow.
In regards to Disasi Newcastle are said to be interested in the 26-year-old if they can’t agree a deal for Marc Guehi, whilst there hasn’t been a lot said about Badiashile departing.
The chances of all three not being at the club over the next two or three windows is a bigger possibility and it’s been reported that Forest value Murillo at around £70m.
