Chelsea have been involved in yet another crazy transfer saga in the last couple of days that has become a total mess in all honesty.
There has been twist after twist in this one, and late on Monday night, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported yet another shock twist in this story.

Conor Gallagher is in Spain just waiting to complete his move to Atletico Madrid. But Chelsea are set to call him back to London today, according to Romano.
Although Romano is now claiming the deals are separate, Gallagher’s move to Atletico clearly relies on Chelsea signing a player from them as well. And since the Samu Omorodion deal collapsed for whatever reason (depends whether you speak to Chelsea or Atletico as they both have different sides to the story obviously), Gallagher to Atletico has stalled.
Joao Felix has also been thrown in but it doesn’t look like Chelsea can yet agree a fee for him.

As you can see from Romano’s latest post above, Chelsea have requested Gallagher back to London TODAY!
He says: ‘Conor Gallagher to Atlético has not collapsed as of tonight; but Chelsea see all deals (so also João Félix) as separate, independent. Atlético can get Gallagher deal signed as docs are ready… …but if they don’t, Chelsea request Conor back to London with flight booked.’
What an absolute mess and regardless of who claims what on what has happened here and why it’s gone so wrong, it’s a poor look and a bit of a shambles for Chelsea.
