Chelsea have officially unveiled their third kit for the 2024/2025 season with the women’s team debuting it in their 1-0 victory against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Blues have now launched all three of their kits for the season and this one is no doubt eye catching with the bright pink nicely contrasting with the black.

The club website states the kit is based on standing out and being yourself and is a throwback to the 1970s and popular culture which in their words has “gone stale.”

There are a number of standout features on the shirt and the badge is replaced by a pink lion crest, whilst there’s also a double Nike swoosh which is vertical.

The reasoning for this is stated as: “Two logos. Two teams. One goal. Worn by both the men’s and women’s squads, it points upward to celebrate the rise of women’s football. Together we rise.”

The shirt has a pink trim on the sleeves and the predominant colour is black, whilst there’s also a number of “punk” inspired patterns running through the shirt.

For me it’s the best kit out of the lot it’s just a shame it likely won’t be worn too often, but when it is the players will certainly stand out on the pitch.
