According to a report from Sky Sports, as seen above, Chelsea are now looking at alternative targets to fill the striker position as Al-Ahli are understood to be feeling more hopeful of securing a deal for Victor Osimhen.
Ivan Toney was one name who has been mentioned this week as a potential alternative, and you’d suggest that he may well be one to watch in these final two days of the window. But I don’t think the Osimhen stuff is over for Chelsea just yet.
I don’t have have a problem with Victor Onsimeh or Ivan Toney joining Chelsea as long the deal does not include sending Nicolas Jackson away. Jackson has adapted well in Chelsea and English football and is still developing further whilst scoring goals for Chelsea, better keep him as backup.
