Chelsea are now reportedly optimistic of signing Victor Osimhen in the final two days of the transfer window, according to a breaking news report out just now!
The Blues have been trying to sign Osimhen basically all summer now and have stepped it up in the last couple of weeks.
Sources: Chelsea in talks with TWO strikers at this same time ahead of deadline day madness!
They have been battling interest from elsewhere too, most notably from Saudi clubs and PSG.
But now, Chelsea are optimistic of landing Osimhen this summer in latest updates from The Guardian just released in the last half an hour.

Chelsea fans will certainly know to remain cautious even after this update, because we have heard and seen this all before only for the deal to break down and not happen, or another club come in.
But the report says there’s cautious optimism at Chelsea about their move for Victor Osimhen, the feeling at Stamford Bridge being that they can convince the Napoli striker to join them on a salary that fits into their wage structure.
However the report also goes on to say doubt remains over whether Osimhen will end up a Chelsea player. He has a huge offer from Al Ahli and the Saudis are trying hard to get the Nigerian to take it. There’s talk, too, that there could be a late move from PSG.
More negotiations today apparently.
