Chelsea on the verge of making £12m for doing nothing at all in transfer move

Chelsea should soon be in for a financial windfall for not doing anything at all this summer to get it, in a transfer deal that is separate from their own business.

The Blues have been spending so much money since the new owners came in to the club, so they need to make some money back, and every little helps of course.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea will make SECOND Oscar Bobb approach, closing on Grabriel Mec!!

Chelsea’s previous ownership were quite good at sorting player sales to help them in future, and in this instance, they are helping the new owners.

The club sold Marc Guehi to Crystal Palace and inserting a sell-on clause that it looks like they are about to earn very soon.

Blues set for £12m windfall

Marc Guehi is reportedly closing in on a move to Newcastle
Chelsea have good sell-on clause

As reported by The Sun, Chelsea could pocket up to £12million if Marc Guehi completes a move to Newcastle this summer.

The Magpies are closing in on a deal to sign Guehi from Crystal Palace.

With Palace allegedly demanding at least £65million to £70m, Chelsea are set to earn 20% of this fee.

The Blues sold Guehi to Crystal Palace for just £18m back in 2021 following two successful loan spells at Swansea City.

A sell-on clause was added into the contract at the time of sale, meaning Chelsea will also profit some from this deal.

It was a smart move from the ownership at that time, because now Chelsea need money to come in and to make profits in order to balance up the financial books for PSR this year.

Let’s hope the deal gets done!
