Chelsea face Southampton at Stamford Bridge in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
There’s nothing quite as exciting as a manager’s first teamsheet of the season – especially when it’s a new manager. And here we have a lot of questions answered.
It looks like a solid back 4 – Malo Gusto fills in for the suspended and injured Reece James, Wesley Fofana plays alongside Levi Colwill in the middle, then Marc Cucurella is ready to play at left back.
In the middle, the big questions are answered – it’s Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez AND Moises Caicedo. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, bought this summer because he knows the manager and system, is left out.
The front three sees Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku flanking Nicolas Jackson – unless it’s actually Jackson wide left and Nkunku through the middle. We will find out soon enough…
