Claims made by Rio Ferdinand shut down by Chelsea reporter as not being true

One claim that was made by former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has been shut down by one Chelsea reporter this week.

A lot is being said about Chelsea right now and they have a media storm on their backs. Some of that is to do with their recruitment, the big squad, and how they have operated in the market as a club. And now, a lot of the criticisms are off the back of how they are treating players at the club who they want to get rid of.

Sources: Chelsea make contact with Liverpool regarding signing one of their players this month!

Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah, and Conor Gallagher are all the main subjects that have fulled this criticism.

The Sterling situation has drawn a lot of drama, and it looks pretty clear that Chelsea are now trying to push him out of the club. Questions have been asked about his treatment.

Ferdinand’s claims denied

Apparently Ferdinand has got this one wrong

According to The Daily Mail, Ferdinand claimed that the players Chelsea wanted sold and excluded to U21s training this summer, found out via emails.

But the one who wrote this article, Chelsea reporter Kieran Gill, says:

‘Despite a claim from Rio Ferdinand that Chelsea’s excluded players discovered their fate by email, it’s believed all were afforded face-to-face conversations. Enzo Maresca is insistent that some modicum of respect is shown, including his chat with Sterling.’

I don’t think Chelsea fans will have too much sympathy for Sterling to be honest, I think most of them want him sold and think he’s outstayed his welcome anyway.
