One transfer deal that looked like it was pretty much done is now all off according to one top transfer news reporter this Thursday afternoon.
Chelsea have been attempting to get a number of players sold and off their books this window but they have very much now left it all to the final days of the window, a window that closes tomorrow!

The Blues have managed to get some sales and loans done, but nowhere near as many as they wished to, and now there is more bad news on that front.
One deal that they thought they had got done is now off.
Harvey Vale looks like he will now be forced to stay at Chelsea, or find another quick late move somewhere else after his move away broke down.

As you can see by reporter Ben Jacobs post on X above, Harvey Vale’s move to Al-Ettifaq is off. No personal terms agreed and the Saudi club have now ended talks.
It was a bit of a crazy move when I first heard it but I guess you could see the appeal from Vale, who spent last season on loan in the English League One with Bristol Rovers. Imagine going from Bristol to Saudi!?
Well, that one is now off and as I say, Vale and Chelsea might now need to see if they can find another club for him to go to in these finals days of the window.
