Fabrizio Romano drops first ‘here we go’ of final 48 hours of the transfer window

We have a feeling there are going to be plenty of ‘here we go’ calls from Fabrizio Romano for the next couple of days as we approach the end of the summer transfer window.

We have today and tomorrow left for clubs to do deals and get things signed off, and Chelsea seemingly have a lot left to do if they are to even get half of the deals done that they want to do.

Sources: Chelsea in talks with TWO strikers at this same time ahead of deadline day madness!

There are so many outgoing names that the club are trying to move on before the window closes on Friday, and Romano has dropped a ‘here we go’ on one of them this morning.

Petrovic heading to Strasbourg

As you can see above, Romano dropped the news earlier on his X account.

He said:

‘Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic set to leave and join Strasbourg, here we go!

‘Understand Petrovic has agreed on new terms with Chelsea ahead of leaving to join Strasbourg.

‘It will be one year loan until June 2025 then back to #CFC.

‘Paperwork being prepared.’

Well there you go, one down and about 20-odd more to go! I’m pretty sure it’s going to be an impossible task for Chelsea to move on all of the players that they have been looking to move on this window. You’d probably have to hire in administrators just for today and tomorrow to help with all the paperwork, they will surely run out of bodies to get it all done!

At least Petrovic is basically done!
